I started trying to get help through the Veterans Administration in 1975.
I would go to Dublin twice a month, and I was turned down at the intake center because they said they had no records for me having served in the military.
My name is Glenwood Hill. I live in Fort Valley, Georgia. I served in the United States Army as a 91B-20 Medic. I’m a retired U.S. Department of Agriculture employee with 38 years of service. And I have farmed since 1975.
They said they had no records on me having served in the military. None were successful in obtaining my records. Senator Warnock got my records for me. I contacted his office in May, because I was having trouble getting military service records, and five weeks later, he had secured my records. Prior to then, I had gone through three Senators.
We need to support leaders who are going to be working on your behalf. This is why I’m going to support Senator Warnock. Had it not been for his help, in helping me to get my records, I would not be able to receive the kind of inside support that I have gained up to this point. Democracy is really on the line and we need somebody who is going to be committed to not just looking out for special interest groups, but for everybody.
