SAVANNAH, GA – Past all the noise of tonight’s debate, Herschel Walker once again, confirmed he is not ready to represent the people of Georgia. These are just the latest examples of Herschel Walker showing he isn’t ready to serve Georgia in the U.S. Senate.

- Herschel Walker showed a complete lack of understanding of diabetes, a health condition that impacts more than one million Georgians across the state. Pressed on the price of insulin, Walker said that only those who don’t “eat right” have diabetes, despite the fact that anyone can be impacted by diabetes.
- Asked about what he would do about the rising cost of college tuition, Herschel Walker said, “what you should do is get rid of federal funding of any college that raise their costs. Get rid of the – get rid of federal funding of any college that raise their costs, that’s the first thing that you should do,” a solution that would rob colleges and universities across the state of critical funding.
- On the debate stage, Herschel Walker claimed that every person with a job has health care, which is also not true. In fact, a large majority of people without insurance are those in a family with someone who works and having a job doesn’t always lead to health coverage.
