Civil Rights Leader and Congressman: Reverend Warnock Has Been a Champion for Health Care, Economic Fairness, Voting Rights – His Unrelenting Focus on Hardworking Georgians Will Guide Him in the Senate
Civil rights icon and Georgia Congressman John Lewis today announced his endorsement for Reverend Raphael Warnock, who is running to represent all Georgians in the U.S. Senate.
In light of the recent public health crisis, Congressman Lewis pointed to Reverend Warnock’s longstanding commitment to expanded, affordable health care access.
“Reverend Warnock has been a champion for years in the struggle for voting rights, economic justice, and access to health care for families all across our state,” said Congressman Lewis. “I have seen Reverend Warnock’s steady leadership in action, through his church and out in our community — and I know his unrelenting focus on the struggles of hardworking Georgians will guide him in public office.
