Irena Plunkett, Fox 24: “It’s the final countdown and politicians are pulling out all the stops.”

Reverend Warnock:I think the people of Georgia are all fired up.”

Irena Plunkett, Fox 24: “Senator Warnock on the offense at a Fort Valley rally. Just a week before the polls tell-all between him and challenger Herschel Walker. To a crowd of over 200, the Senator knew his audience and focused his speech to emphasize his experience struggling to make it financially through school.”

Reverend Warnock: “And I want you to know that you have a United States Senator who understands the struggles of hardworking families because if someone hadn’t given me some pell grants and low interest student loans, I wouldn’t have finished Morehouse college and gone on to get several other graduate degrees.”

Irena Plunkett, Fox 24: Touting his work securing nearly $260 million meant for HBCUS, the Senator’s come up story resonated with students. Registered voter Emani Shy, going as far to say that she sees Warnock as inspiration.”

Emani Shy, Registered Voter:When he talked about where he grew up and the struggles that he faced, it just really reflected on me because I grew up, and I didn’t have money or things of that nature and I never believed that I would have a chance to do something. So seeing a Black man come up and represent from coming from struggle, it meant a lot to me.

Irena Plunkett, Fox 24: “Despite several passionate remarks meant to encourage young voters to head out to the polls, the shining moment came out when the Senator addressed recent abortion allegations that have embroiled pro-life candidate Herschel Walker.

Reverend Warnock:They can see the differences between me and my opponent. I can tell you there’s no comparison at all. Character matters and this is somebody who has demonstrated that not only is he not ready for the job, he is also not fit. He has lied repeatedly about the most basic facts of his life and if we can’t trust him to tell us the truth about his life, I don’t know how we can trust him with our lives.
