Warnock, a first-time candidate, continues to outpace political insiders Loeffler and Collins in recent polling, fundraising, and momentum
Atlanta, GA – Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church and U.S Senate candidate Reverend Raphael Warnock again outraised his opponents in the third quarter of the election. Warnock, who reported nearly $13 million in the third quarter, brought in almost $9 million more than Congressman Doug Collins and Senator Kelly Loeffler — combined. Warnock also quadrupled his own second quarter fundraising, showing that his campaign continues to gain momentum as voters learn more about his message. Since entering the race, the pastor has received over 500,000 individual contributions. His third quarter haul is the second-highest single quarter raise for a Democratic Senate candidate in Georgia history.
With $6.5 million cash on hand, Warnock will begin the final stretch of the campaign in a strong position for Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts, and has more resources in the bank than both his Republican opponents, without having to lend himself millions of dollars.
Warnock’s continued fundraising success is the latest marker of the enthusiasm for his candidacy and Georgia’s competitiveness. Earlier this week, independent analysts at the Cook Political Report and FiveThirtyEight moved the race to a Toss Up after a string of recent polling showed Warnock leading the field by double digits.

About Reverend Warnock
Reverend Raphael Warnock grew up in Kayton Homes public housing in Savannah. Fourteen years ago, he was chosen to serve as Senior Pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, the former pulpit of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He is only the fifth Senior Pastor in the history of the church and the youngest pastor ever selected to serve in that position. Reverend Warnock believes his service does not stop at the church door, and has been an advocate to expand health care coverage and to ensure hardworking Georgians can make a living wage. As Senator, Reverend Warnock will bring to Washington the concerns of struggling Georgia families who wonder why no one is looking out for them, and focus on fighting for quality, affordable health care, for the dignity of working people who are paid too little as our government works more for Wall Street, and to make sure every voice is heard.
