Savannah Levins, 11Alive Atlanta: “Raphael Warnock was in Brookhaven today announcing a $750,000 grant in federal funds he was able to help secure for the Brookhaven Police Department. So, this money will help the department hire six new police officers. It’s all a part of the Community Oriented Police Services program that Senator Warnock really championed. And he says this will help smaller police departments, like Brookhaven, better protect their communities.

Reverend Warnock: This piece of legislation, which has already passed the House, already passed the Senate, will focus on smaller police departments, so that they can get the personnel that they need.
