Throughout the weekend, Warnock highlighted key issues facing Georgia: the rising cost of health care, rural hospital closures, and voting rights
Atlanta, GA – This weekend, Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church and U.S. Senate candidate Reverend Raphael Warnock continued his “Georgia Voices” tour with stops in Savannah and Dublin. Since launching the tour only three weeks ago, he’s also visited Valdosta, Brunswick, and Norcross.
On Saturday, Warnock traveled to Savannah for a socially-distanced meet and greet with Rep. J. Craig Gordon, former Mayor Otis Johnson, State Senator Lester Jackson, and community members. He then participated in a meet and greet with Savannah-area Democrats, held a roundtable with local faith leaders, and joined the Savannah Regional Labor Council for another socially distanced meet and greet at the International Longshoremen’s Association Local 1414.
On Sunday, Warnock traveled to Dublin for a socially distanced meet and greet with former Georgia Democratic Party Chair and State House Minority Leader DuBose Porter in front of the historic First African Baptist Church. He then took part in a community meet and greet with local faith leaders.
